Florida Appraisal and Bulding Inspections Staff currently consisting of two individuals.

Thomas G. Kleinschnitz Sr., is President and Building Inspector. Tom is licensed as a Building Inspector and WDO Inspector and holds many certifications in related industries, such as mold sampling, radon testing, etc. Tom performs all building inspections, WDO inspections, specialty inspections and mold sampling for Florida Appraisal And Building Inspections,LLC.

Tom's work history before becoming a building inspector was 22 years of Engineering. Getting his start in the City Engineering Department of Melbourne, Florida, Tom progressed from there into working for several civil, architectural, and mechanical firms. His exposure to residential building construction is extensive. Tom also has extensive hands-on experience in ALL construction disciplines of residential construction; a few examples include the building of three homes, start to finish, as well as building one commercial Pre-School.

His hands-on experience is strong in ALL construction disciplines of residential construction. Tom holds credentials with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) as a "Certified Inspector", a Registored Professional with the  Florida Association of Building Inspectors (FABI), a member of the International Code Council, "Certified through the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI), and a Certified Master Inspector. Tom’s dedication to further education is unmatched by other professionals in his trade. Currently studying to be Code Certified he has entered the Masters Program with the International Code Council. Tom has personally performed over 4000 home inspections and is considered one of the best and most preferred in his area.

Theresa A. Kleinschnitz is the Office Manager for FAABI and is also a Registered Appraisal Trainee, employed by Certified Residential Appraiser, Anthony Piscopo. All appraisal services brokered by Florida Appraisal And Building Inspection will be processed through and reviewed by the office of Tony Piscopo and Sunshine State Appraisal Company.

Theresa’s professional work experience prior to accepting a position with FAABI was working as the Office Manager for Advanced Building Inspection. She also is a degreed Special Education Teacher, a National Board Certified Teacher, a mother of five, and grandmother of two. Theresa has worked for the Lake County School System for the past seven years.

With her extensive experience in collecting research, analyzing data, and developing business related presentations, she chose a career change into the Appraisal Industry. She currently works with one of Central Florida's most aggressive and thorough appraisal companies, that strives to always hit their mark in appraising residential properties.

Their reputation of excellence in the industry has been built on the quality product they provide in their written report and on their customer service standards. FAABI assures that the reports are provided to lenders in 7 days or less from the day the order is received, provided subject data concurs with public record. Appointments are made within a 48 hour time frame (We will accommodate the needs of the property owner which sometimes causes this time frame to exceed the 48 hour window).
