Our Staff

Florida Appraisal and Bulding Inspections Staff currently consisting of three individuals.

Thomas G. Kleinschnitz Sr., is President and Building Inspector. Tom is licensed as a Building Inspector and WDO Inspector and holds many certifications in related industries, such as mold sampling, radon testing, etc. Tom performs all building inspections, WDO inspections, specialty inspections and mold sampling for Florida Appraisal And Building Inspections,LLC.

Tom's work history before becoming a building inspector was 22 years of Engineering. Getting his start in the City Engineering Department of Melbourne, Florida, Tom progressed from there into working for several civil, architectural, and mechanical firms. His exposure to residential building construction is extensive. Tom also has extensive hands-on experience in ALL construction disciplines of residential construction; a few examples include the building of three homes, start to finish, as well as building one commercial Pre-School.

His hands-on experience is strong in ALL construction disciplines of residential construction. Tom holds credentials with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) as a "Certified Inspector", a past Registored Professional with the  Florida Association of Building Inspectors (FABI), a member of the International Code Council, "Certified through the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI), and a Certified Master Inspector. Tom’s dedication to further education is unmatched by other professionals in his trade. Currently studying to be Code Certified he has entered the Masters Program with the International Code Council. Tom has personally performed over 6000 home inspections and is considered one of the best and most preferred in his area.

Theresa A. Kleinschnitz is the Co-0wnerfor of FAABI and is also a past Registered Appraisal Trainee. employed by Certified Residential Appraiser, Anthony Piscopo. Theresa's capcity in FAABI is as a consultant for leadership and direction. 

Theresa’s professional work experience prior to accepting a position with FAABI was working as the Office Manager for Advanced Building Inspection. She also is a degreed Special Education Teacher, a National Board Certified Teacher, a mother of five, and grandmother of three. Theresa has worked for the Lake County School System for the past 13 years.  She has completed her master's degree in Educational Leadership and is currently in the pool to become a school administer.  Her valued education and leadership is a great benefit to FAABI when called upon.

Florida Appraisal & Building Inspection NO LONGER conducts appraisals.  Please refer to the bottom of our home page for referrrals to licensed appraisors.

Our third staff member is Christina Bowles.  Christina is our current Office Manager.  Her skills as a customer service representative in various service oriented job sets gives her the perfect background for managing our busy and very custormer driven business.  She is currently in training to become our marketing executive and directly assists Tom in all actions of the organization.
